An inspired Vienna apartment’s decor combining an abundance of beautiful art objects – both contemporary art and tribal elements, elegant modern furnishing and rich textural combinations laid in a spacious shell – this is the new design project of one of our favorite interior design stylist Annabell Kutucu.
Located in a bustling neighborhood of the Austrian capital, the apartment combines urban and adventurous spirit – a perfect match for a well-traveled owner. Illuminated by the large windows and reflecting white surfaces the overall simplicity and monochrome decor composition is vitalized by some exquisite vintage findings, custom-made structures and abundance of organic material accents.
In the open floor plan of the dining and living room combo, multiple decor details deserve special attention. The rough linens of the rugs and other upholsteries and textiles throughout the premises are in perfect match with the expressive ceramic elements of the decoration arrangement. Cast-iron frames for benches and custom-made shelving, thin metal lines, frames, and mesh iron-glass petitions are in well-balanced juxtaposition with the stable presence of rustic, antique and vintage wooden furniture elements- from the small, tribal round chairs to the rich surface of the tables and desks.
Polished concrete floors are in dialog with the organic textiles and overall natural and pure feel of the composition. This apartment offers a truly beautiful modern design combination between organic and sleek, modern and rustic, tribal and contemporary styles.
